Summary

solti-podman hit its first real testing milestone and its first process mistake — an accidental round of development directly on main that had to be synced back into dev ("accidentally developed in main...crap"). The _base role pattern picked up manage-svc.sh/svc_exec scripts and started consolidating variables into inventory + environment, with HashiVault work beginning. solti-monitoring hit a real Ansible naming gotcha (collection names can't contain -, forcing a rename to jackal.solti_monitoring) while continuing to refine its testing collection. solti-ensemble had its first real activity since the January initial commit — Gitea Alloy monitoring, ISPConfig/mail checkpoints, and a documentation session.

What shipped (PRs)

  • solti-podman #5 (merged 03-03) — First order testing done: _base class now covers prepare/remove; pod/container work still pending. Added manage-svc.sh <role> <state> and svc_exec <role> <task_in_role> scripts; began consolidating variables into inventory/environment; HashiVault work started.
  • solti-podman #6 (merged 03-10) — Accidentally developed in main...crap — work landed on main instead of dev.
  • solti-podman #7 (merged 03-10) — Sync dev branch — follow-up PR to reconcile dev after the main-branch mistake in #6.
  • solti-monitoring #8 (merged 03-11) — Working on my local: collection renamed jackal.solti_monitoring (Ansible collection names can't contain -); monitoring test roles updated to match.
  • solti-monitoring #9 (merged 03-20) — Working well: continued cleanup from the rename/restructuring, automating playbook generation and trimming bulk; "still cleaning up from construction... a few quirks still."
